Never before have so many cultures been imbued in a violinist. His ear is trained in the eastern, and western scales. His repertoire consists of music from Sinatra, to Mozart, to Um Kalthoum, to gypsy and everything in between. Joseph Chamaa expresses multiculturalism thorugh sound as much as he embraces it. He has been playing the violin for over 50 years and has mastered that form of expression.
As an instructor, Mr. Chamaa has taught thousands of students throughout his life, many of which have become professional successful violinists. He now teaches in the Waldorf school system.
Along his adventure through life, Mr. Chamaa also finds time to compose, arrange, and produce music. He has performed with the New Valley Symphony Orchestra, and currently performs with MESTO (Multi Ethnic Star Orchestra) who often perform his new experiments in middle eastern compositions.
